LKQ (LKQ) said Tuesday that its LKQ Europe unit has formed an automotive parts and salvage joint venture with IAA unit Synetiq.
LKQ said the joint venture, called LKQ Synetiq, will contribute to the development of Europe salvage operations as well as help meet end-of-life vehicle and battery-recycling regulations.
The company said the joint venture will be led by Michael Hill, Synetiq's dismantling operations director; Annick Jourdenais, LKQ Europe's senior project director salvage; and Magnus Tagesson, chief executive of LKQ Atracco and managing director of LKQ Europe's Salvage Channel.
