Bajel Projects (NSE:BAJEL, BOM:544042) secured an ultra-mega order, which it classifies as above 4 billion Indian rupees, from PowerGrid Corporation of India (NSE:POWERGRID, BOM:532898), according to a Saturday filing to the Indian bourses.
The company's shares were up 5% in recent Monday trade.
The contract is for the construction of a new 400kV D/c transmission line of 138 kilometers connecting Mahan- Rewa power station. It also entails extension of 400kV substation bay works at the Rewa (PG) associated with the transmission system for the evacuation of power from Mahan Energen's generating station in Madhya Pradesh, India.
The project is set to be completed within 29 months.
