AECOM, a global infrastructure leader, has been appointed as the technical advisor and lead consultant for VicGrid, a newly established Victorian government agency in Australia. Partnering with GHD as a key subconsultant, AECOM will provide technical advice and support for the development and delivery of VicGrid's energy infrastructure program. This initiative is part of Victoria's effort to build a next-generation power grid and transition to renewable energy. AECOM's role will encompass services across the asset lifecycle, including engineering, land, planning, and environmental approvals, with a focus on partnering with First Nations subcontractors.
