Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc. (RYAM) has entered into a new partnership with Verso Energy, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to explore the development of a facility in Jesup, Georgia, for producing electro Sustainable Aviation Fuel (e-SAF) and utilizing biogenic carbon dioxide from RYAM's operations. The partnership seeks to advance industrial innovation and decarbonization efforts. A joint steering committee will oversee the project evaluation, with a feasibility study already in progress and a final investment decision anticipated within the next 18 to 24 months. This initiative highlights the commitment of both companies to accelerating the energy transition and contributing to global climate goals.
