Thomas Cook (India) (NSE:THOMASCOOK, BOM:500413) subsidiary Sterling Holiday Resorts has launched a new resort named "Sterling Vanvasa" in Uttarakhand, India, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The resort has 33 colonial-style cottages and family suites, and is the company's eighth resort in the state of Uttarakhand.
The company's shares were up nearly 2% in recent trade.
