Gogo Inc. has announced that its Gogo C1 line replaceable unit (LRU) has received Supplemental Type Certification $(STC)$ from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for 42 aircraft models. This certification, achieved in collaboration with Metrea Aerospace Design (MASD), covers a wide range of aircraft including models from Cessna, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault, Embraer, and Hawker. The approval ensures that 70% of North American Gogo legacy air-to-ground $(ATG.UK)$ customer aircraft can maintain connectivity with Gogo's forthcoming LTE network upgrade. This development is part of Gogo's strategy to facilitate a seamless transition for its customers from legacy ATG systems to the advanced Gogo AVANCE products, with the new network set to go live in May 2026. Gogo is also offering a $35,000 installation incentive for customers who complete the C1 installation by December 31, 2025.
