Kestrel Group Ltd. has announced a change in its certifying accountants, as detailed in a recent Form 8-K filing. On June 18, 2025, the company dismissed its previous independent registered public accounting firm, Frazier & Deeter, LLC, and appointed Ernst & Young LLP as the new firm responsible for auditing its financial statements. The change was made without any disagreements or reportable events with Frazier & Deeter concerning Kestrel's accounting practices or financial disclosures. The transition to Ernst & Young LLP follows their previous engagement with Maiden Holdings, Ltd., which Kestrel acquired recently. The decision was approved by Kestrel's audit committee and is effective immediately.
