Friedman Industries Inc. has announced a change in its independent registered public accounting firm following a merger of its previous auditor, Moss Adams LLP, with Baker Tilly US, LLP. The merger, which took effect on June 3, 2025, led to Moss Adams resigning as the company's auditors. Subsequently, the Audit Committee of Friedman's Board of Directors approved the appointment of Baker Tilly as the new auditing firm. The company noted that during the fiscal years ending March 31, 2025, and 2024, as well as the subsequent interim period, there were no disagreements or reportable events with Moss Adams regarding accounting principles or financial disclosures. Moss Adams has provided a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission confirming its agreement with these statements.
