Gemilang International's Fiscal H1 Profit Plunges

Gemilang International's (HKG:6163) attributable profit plunged to $28,000 in the half-year ended April 30 from $736,000 in the year-ago period.

Shares in the Malaysia-based bus assembler fell 3% at the close of trading on Monday.

Earnings per share plunged to $0.0001 from $0.002 in the prior-year period, according to a Friday late-evening filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

Revenue grew to $11.7 million from $8.8 million in the year-ago period.
