Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) said that an additional reverse circulation drilling program targeting infill and extensional resource drilling at the Sandstone Hub in Western Australia returned high-grade intercepts, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
"Significant" intercepts encountered during the program included 10 meters at 43.8 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 36 meters, as well as 9 meters at 4.4 g/t grade of gold from 92 meters.
The results confirm that mineralization remains open along strike and at depth, indicating potential for further growth and deeper drilling.
Follow-up programs are to start shortly, the company said.
