S&P Global Ratings has placed an AA long-term foreign currency issue rating on South Korea's proposed euro senior unsecured notes, according to a Thursday release.
The notes serve as the country's direct, general, unconditional, unsecured, and unsubordinated obligations.
They also rank equally with its other unsecured and unsubordinated offshore obligations, S&P said.
