Unicharm (TYO:8113), in partnership with Toyota Tsusho and CFAO Kenya, will establish Sofy East Africa to manufacture and sell feminine, baby, and wellness care products in Kenya and neighboring countries.
The joint venture, set to launch in December with Unicharm holding a 75% stake, aims to strengthen local production and distribution following the successful introduction of its Sofy product line, according to its Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
