AppFolio (APPF) was Smart Insider's stock pick of the week following the "unusual purchase" from director Timothy Bliss and a "confident" opening buy from director Robert Casey.
Bliss bought 22,000 class A shares on June 9 for $4.8 million, or $217 apiece, Smart Insider said in a note Tuesday.
Bliss' purchase is "modest" compared to his sales of $64 million from 2019 to 2024. "His only other purchase, however, was at $12 in June 2015 on the company's IPO," the note said.
Casey bought $871,000 worth of shares on June 6 for the first time since joining the board in April, the note added.
Smart Insider renewed the stock's +1, or strong positive signal, rank on June 10.
