Ford Motor (F) said Wednesday it is recalling about 2,345 2025 F-250 to F-550 trucks in the US due to a missing brake pedal component that could cause brake failure and increase the risk of a crash.
Ford said the affected vehicles do not meet federal safety standards. No accidents or injuries have been reported, although the company said it has received three incident reports and one warranty claim linked to the issue.
The company said it is preparing to send parts and repair instructions to dealerships to resolve the issue.
