Honda Motor (HMC) said Tuesday it has launched Fastport, a business-to-business micromobility venture, which will unveil its first product at the Eurobike conference in Frankfurt, Germany at the end of June.
Honda said Fastport's first product will be an all-electric eQuad quadricycle designed to use city bike lanes to make last-mile deliveries.
The automaker said "last-mile delivery has become one of the most complex and costly segments of the logistics chain."
Honda said deliveries of the micromobility vehicle in North America and Europe are expected to begin in late 2025, with general mass production slated for the summer of 2026.
