This figure includes 11 events, with approximately 70% of the losses attributed to three widespread wind and hail events. Combined catastrophe losses for April and May reached $1.37 billion or $1.08 billion after-tax. In terms of policies in force, Allstate reported the following as of May 31, 2025: 25,226 auto policies, marking a 0.2% increase from both April 30, 2025, and May 31, 2024. Homeowners policies reached 7,587, reflecting a 0.2% rise from April and a 2.4% increase from the previous year. Other personal lines saw a slight growth of 0.1% from April, totaling 4,887, and a 0.5% increase from May 2024. However, commercial lines declined by 2.2% from April and 31.8% from the previous year, settling at 180. Overall, the total policies in force increased by 0.2% from April and 0.4% compared to May 2024, reaching 37,880.
