The Herzfeld Caribbean Basin Fund Inc. held a special meeting of stockholders on June 17, 2025. Stockholders approved the conversion of the Fund to a CLO Equity Strategy. The proposal to revise the Fund's investment objective to prioritize maximizing risk-adjusted total returns with a secondary focus on generating high current income was approved. Additionally, the proposal to amend the fundamental policies related to borrowing, issuance of senior securities, underwriting, industry concentration, and transactions involving real estate, commodities, and loans was also approved.
