Bank of China (SHA:601988, HKG:3988) and People's Insurance Co. of China (SHA:601319, HKG:1339), or PICC, jointly launched an action plan during the 2025 Lujiazui Forum to support the development of the Shanghai International Shipping Center, The Paper reported Thursday.
The plan focuses on shipping safety, operational efficiency and green transformation, according to the report.
Shares of Bank of China closed 1% higher Thursday on the Shanghai bourse, while shares of PICC were down 1%.
