CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. has announced the commencement of its summer drill program at the West McArthur Joint Venture project in the eastern Athabasca Basin. The initiative is part of a $12.5 million exploration program for 2025. This summer's efforts will focus on expanding the high-grade Pike Zone uranium discovery, particularly targeting areas along the unconformity where significant mineralization was previously found. The winter drill program's assay results are still pending. CanAlaska, which operates the joint venture with Cameco Corporation, holds an 85.97% stake in the project and is sole-funding the 2025 program, poised to further increase its ownership. The summer exploration is expected to conclude in September.
