Huntington Ingalls Industries Inc. $(HII)$ has been selected for inclusion in a multiple award contract to provide live training solutions to the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). The contract, which is indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) with a ceiling of $379 million, allows HII to compete for delivery orders related to the U.S. Army's Live Training, Ranges, and Combat Training Centers (LTRaC). This initiative will support the Army's training systems evolution, offering realistic and efficient preparation for combat scenarios. Michael Lempke, president of Mission Technologies' Global Security group, emphasized the critical nature of training for warfighter readiness. Under the MAC 3 contract vehicle, HII will contribute to the provision of new products, technology updates, modernization efforts, and development for live-fire ranges for both the Army and U.S. Marine Corps.
