Chinasoft International (HKG:0354) launched its self-developed Hongyun Virtual Machine for HarmonyOS PCs, enabling dual-system interaction with Windows, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The virtual machine is listed on the Harmony PC Application Market and aims to solve early-stage ecosystem bottlenecks by supporting cross-platform applications and intelligent system interaction.

The Hongyun VM features an integrated Windows app store, multi-layered security protections, and system recovery capabilities, Chinasoft said.

The company said the product will support the large-scale rollout of HarmonyOS PCs and bolster its domestic OS development efforts.
