Datang Renewable Power Logs Over 8% Boost in May Output

China Datang Corporation Renewable Power (HKG:1798) recorded a power output of a little over 3.1 million megawatt-hours in May, up 8.4% from a year prior, a June 13 Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Of the total, the wind and photovoltaic power generation rose 4.5% and 35% to 2.6 million megawatt-hours and 486,320 megawatt-hours, respectively.

From January to May, total power generation reached nearly 16.4 million megawatt-hours, an increase of 10% from the prior-year period.

Of this, wind power output jumped 9.4% to 14.5 million megawatt-hours, with photovoltaic power generation rising 18% to 1.8 million megawatt-hours.
