Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. has announced the execution of a contract to supply a state-of-the-art submarine rescue vehicle system $(SRV)$ for the Indonesian Navy. The contract includes a piloted rescue submersible, capable of operating at depths of up to 605 meters and carrying 20 people, alongside a launch and recovery system and a decompression system. The SRV will be constructed at FET's facility in Yorkshire, England, while the launch and recovery system will be manufactured in Bryan, Texas. Incorporating the latest technologies, the system will feature advanced sensors and sonar for enhanced functionality. Sea trials are scheduled for 2028.
