Associated Banc-Corp is set to significantly expand its presence in Downtown Minneapolis by relocating its office to the IDS Center. The move will see the bank leasing the entire 43rd floor, more than doubling its current space at the PwC Tower, and is scheduled for Spring 2026 following construction starting in August 2025. This expansion is part of a strategic investment in the city, aimed at accommodating rapid growth and enhancing service capacity for around 100 colleagues across key business lines. Additionally, a new branch location is expected to open in the IDS Center Crystal Court by October 2025. This move underscores the bank's commitment to Minneapolis, with Paul Schmidt, Twin Cities market president, highlighting the city's ongoing renaissance and the bank's role in its momentum. Associated Bank currently operates 15 branches in the Greater Twin Cities area along with office space in St. Louis Park.
