China Datang Corporation Renewable Power Co. Ltd. has reported a significant increase in power generation for May 2025. The company's total power generation amounted to 3,100,933 MWh, marking an 8.38% rise compared to the same period in 2024. The wind power segment produced 2,614,613 MWh, a 4.50% increase from May 2024, while photovoltaic power generation reached 486,320 MWh, representing a substantial 35.43% growth compared to the previous year. Regionally, notable increases were observed, such as in Shanxi, where power generation surged by 63.26% to 233,393 MWh, and in Hebei, with a 33.01% rise to 55,860 MWh. Conversely, some regions experienced declines, including Inner Mongolia, with a 6.81% decrease to 697,348 MWh, and Liaoning, which saw a 13.64% drop to 121,476 MWh. As of May 31, 2025, the total power generation for the year stood at 16,389,300 MWh, reflecting a 10.32% increase from the corresponding period in 2024.
