W.P. Carey Raises Dividend for Fifth Time in 12 Months

The board of W.P. Carey raised the company's quarterly dividend for the fifth time in the past year, this time by 1 cent to 90 cents a share.

The real-estate investment trust said the new payout, an increase of 1.1%, will be paid on July 15 to shareholders of record as of June 30.

On an annualized basis the new payout is equal to $3.60 a share, and represents a yield of 5.7% based on Thursday's closing price of $63.36.

The company raised its dividend by a 1 cent in March, and by a half cent in December, September and in June 2024.
