Hudbay Minerals resumed operations in Manitoba about two weeks after wildfires forced authorities issue evacuation orders in the area.
The critical minerals mining company said Monday work restarted this past weekend at its Snow Lake site. The company also said there was no any structural damage to its infrastructure and facilities at Snow Lake or at Flin Flon from wildfires tearing through the province. Evacuation orders for Flin Flon are still in place.
Hudbay said it is resumed mining activities this past weekend with a focus on initially prioritizing gold zones. Milling activities are expected to ramp up to full production starting this week.

Guidance for the year for Manitoba remain unchanged.
