0727 GMT - UBS still offers absolute value, even adjusting to the new reality of holding greater levels of capital under the Swiss government's new draft legislation, Keefe, Bruyette & Woods says in a research note. The measures designed to strengthen the Swiss banking system by imposing more capital reserves on UBS is positive, analysts write. The long phase-in period provides an element of relief, they add. The Swiss bank should trade at valuation levels somewhere between that of EU banks and Morgan Stanley, the analysts say. This means its shares should trade at a price that is between 8.2 and 13 times its earnings, they say. (elena.vardon@wsj.com)
