The Lovesac Company reported a 4.3% increase in net sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2026, reaching $138.4 million compared to $132.6 million in the same period of fiscal 2025. Showroom sales saw a significant rise of 18.2%, totaling $96.5 million, while internet sales decreased by 8.9% to $33.3 million. Other sales categories experienced a 40.5% decline, amounting to $8.6 million. The company reported a net loss of $10.8 million, an improvement of 16.4% from the $13.0 million loss reported in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year. Gross profit increased by 3.2% to $74.4 million, with a slight decrease in gross margin to 53.7%. Lovesac's CEO, Shawn Nelson, highlighted the launch of the company's third Designed For Life Platform, EverCouch, which expands their product offerings into the armchair, loveseat, and sofa category, effectively doubling the company's total addressable market. The company expressed confidence in its long-term growth trajectory despite the challenging economic environment.
