Vection Technologies (ASX:VR1) launched its Algho AI sign language, which delivers real-time sign language interpretations in real-time via on-screen avatars, on the Amazon Web Services marketplace to provide access across Europe, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Amazon Web Services, such as Step Functions and SageMaker, allowed for the development and deployment of Algho's Italian sign language capabilities.
The firm implemented a live interpretation for passenger service kiosks at the Cagliari Airport, launched a pilot implementation for a large client across customer service points, and delivered the technology to infrastructure firm Acquevenete, per the filing.
A real-world pilot is underway at the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti innovation hub, funded by Italy's Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the filing said. The pilot allows deaf citizens to independently call an emergency number during an emergency without needing a human interpreter.
Annual recurring licenses will allow end users to use the Algho AI sign language for one year, the filing said.
