0730 GMT - European oil stocks led the gains in initial trade in Europe. The stocks were boosted by yesterday's jump in oil prices, which left Brent crude trading around $69.24 a barrel Thursday morning. Geopolitical fears in the Middle East propelled yesterday's rise. In London, BP trades up 1.7% while Shell is up 1.26%. France's TotalEnergies rises 1.9%, Italy's Eni 1.6% and Spain's Repsol 1.35%. Portugal's Galp is up 1.46% and Norway's Equinor climbs 1.7%.(adam.whittaker@wsj.com)
