ANZ Launches First Strategy to Support First Nations Businesses

ANZ Group Holdings (ASX:ANZ, NZE:ANZ) launched its first First Nations strategy, "Fuelling the Fire," according to a Wednesday statement from the bank.

The bank will prioritize improving financial inclusion and wellbeing, banking the First Nations economy, and building its cultural intelligence.

It seeks to develop a range of culturally informed product features and services and roll out a bank-wide First Nations cultural learning framework by 2030.

The bank commissioned Deloitte Access Economics to estimate the size and nature of the First Nations economy by 2050. The findings indicated that the First Nations economy has the potential to generate AU$50 billion annually in revenue in the next decade.
