Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) said a grab and rock chip sampling program returned high grades of gold and identified mineralization from historical workings at the Halloween prospect at its Kambalda gold-nickel project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The company also completed follow-up reverse circulation drilling at the Guiding Star prospect, as well as first pass scout drilling at the Violet and Killarney North gold prospects, the filing said. The latter two prospects were downgraded.
It reported a "significant" intercept at Guiding Star of 21 meters at 0.6 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from 128 meters.
