High Liner Foods Incorporated, a leading North American value-added frozen seafood company, has announced its agreement to acquire the Mrs. Paul's and Van de Kamp's brands from Conagra Brands for USD $55 million, including approximately USD $36 million in inventory. The transaction secures the volume associated with High Liner Foods' current contract with Conagra, which is set to expire in 2027, and is expected to increase the company's annual volume from this business to approximately 29 million pounds. This strategic move aims to catalyze growth in the U.S. retail market by leveraging the strong consumer awareness of the acquired brands and expanding High Liner Foods' distribution network. The transaction is anticipated to close at the end of June 2025.
