Children's Place posted a decline in same-store and overall sales in the first quarter. Management said uncertainty from tariffs and low consumer sentiment are putting pressure on finances. Shares sank 23% to $5.24 in postmarket trading Friday.

Tempest Therapeutics said three of its c-suite executives transitioned to consulting agreements. The agreements have one-year terms and come as the cancer-treatment company is exploring strategic alternatives. Shares rose 7% to $8.80 after the market closed Friday.
