Conagra Brands Inc. announced on June 6, 2025, that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Van de Kamp's® and Mrs. Paul's® frozen seafood brands to High Liner Foods for $55 million in cash. The transaction, which includes all associated intellectual property and inventory, is expected to close by the end of July 2025. Conagra stated that the divestiture supports its efforts to reshape its portfolio, allowing the company to focus on strengthening its core frozen offerings. Van de Kamp's and Mrs. Paul's are well-known brands in the U.S. for their breaded and battered seafood products.
