Hong Kong and China Gas (HKG:0003) Managing Director Peter Wong Wai-yee said there are no plans to adjust its prices despite trade uncertainties, The Standard reported Wednesday, citing remarks during Towngas' annual general meeting.

For Wong, the best course of action is to keep the dividend at HK$0.35, the report said.

The executive forecast gas sales in the city to slip by less than 1% year over year in 2025 due to an increase in temperatures and the trend of Hongkongers going north to the mainland, The Standard reported.

Gas usage in households increased by 160% gigajoules due to a fall in temperatures, while usage in hotels and airport catering increased due to a rebound in events and aviation activity, The Standard said.
