Costco Wholesale Corporation reported net sales of $20.97 billion for the retail month of May, which ended on June 1, 2025. This represents a 6.8 percent increase from the $19.64 billion reported in the same period last year. For the first 39 weeks of the fiscal year, net sales reached $201.02 billion, marking an 8.0 percent increase from $186.07 billion in the previous year. Comparable sales for the four-week period showed a 4.3 percent increase for the total company, with U.S. sales rising by 4.1 percent, Canada by 3.3 percent, and other international markets by 6.6 percent. E-commerce sales saw a significant boost, increasing by 11.6 percent. When excluding the impacts of changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange, comparable sales increased by 6.0 percent overall, with U.S. sales up by 5.5 percent, Canada by 6.3 percent, and other international markets by 8.4 percent. E-commerce sales excluding these impacts rose by 12.0 percent. Costco currently operates 905 warehouses worldwide, including 624 in the United States and Puerto Rico. The company continues to expand its international footprint with outlets in countries such as Canada, Mexico, Japan, the United Kingdom, and others.
