Taruga Minerals (ASX:TAR) said a soil geochemistry sampling program at Thowagee gold project in Western Australia identified new mineralization trends under shallow cover, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The soil sampling program included 538 soil sampling locations with results yielding up to 92 parts per billion gold, the filing said.

Exploration work at the project will continue with an expanded soils and rock chip sampling program to identify and consolidate the most significant targets identifiable within the broader mineralized trends.
