Reticulate Micro, Inc. $(RMX.AU)$, a leader in advanced video compression technology, has announced receiving an initial order from its Asia-Pacific partner, TEKSEA Technology Joint Stock Company, for its VAST video compression technology. This collaboration aims to fulfill a critical operational requirement for the Vietnamese maritime security and defense services. TEKSEA is working with the Vietnamese government to design and deploy a satellite-based camera surveillance system, enhancing real-time transmission of surveillance footage from vessels to command centers. This system will support various missions, including patrol, anti-smuggling, search and rescue, and territorial protection. RMX's VAST technology, capable of streaming high-definition video at low bitrates, will be integral to this initiative, offering improved situational awareness and rapid response capabilities at sea.
