SAN JOSE, Calif.--Netgear Inc. has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Exium, a cybersecurity company, as part of its strategic investment in cloud-based solutions for advanced business connectivity. This acquisition aims to enhance NETGEAR's offerings by integrating Exium's Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform into its network solutions. The move is expected to provide small and medium enterprises with a fully integrated network and security solution. Exium CEO Farooq Khan will continue to lead the Exium solution within NETGEAR's Business leadership team. The transaction is anticipated to close by the end of Q2 2025, pending customary closing conditions.
