Marjorie Taylor Greene Backs Trump in Musk Feud

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R., Ga.), a Trump loyalist who embraced Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency, sided with the president in the feud between the two men. "Just to be clear, I voted for Donald J Trump on Nov 4, 2024," she wrote on X. "Not anyone else. I voted for Trump. I voted for Trump's agenda."

Greene chairs the DOGE subcommittee in the House and cheered the introduction of a $9.4 billion rescissions package that would codify some DOGE cuts into law. The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Trump shared polling numbers with Greene that showed her losing a potential race for Senate in Georgia by double-digits, in an effort to discourage her from running in 2026.
