ViaSat Inc. has entered into a new partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA) to inspire the next generation of space enthusiasts through educational initiatives. In collaboration with ESA, Telespazio, and other industry experts, ViaSat is working to develop a satellite 'data highway' aimed at enhancing communication and navigation on and around the Moon by 2030 as part of the Moonlight programme. This partnership aims to excite young students about STEM careers that could potentially take them to the Moon, with more than 200 students at St Piran's School in Maidenhead participating in the initiative.
