Paladin Energy (ASX:PDN) said a winter exploration program at the Patterson Lake South uranium project in Canada intersected radioactivity, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Around 20 drill holes totaling 7,102.9 meters were completed between February and May as part of the program. The program was planned in order to identify additional uranium mineralization outside of the Triple R deposit.
Eleven drill holes at the Saloon East area completed to date intersected radioactivity, while a reconnaissance drill hole at the PLG-3 area intersected intensely altered basement rocks with anomalous radioactivity.
