Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) said a rock chip and grab sampling program at the Hustler and Koombana prospects at the Kambalda gold-nickel project in Western Australia defined outcropping gold mineralization, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The exploration program also identified a potential new controlling structure at Hustler not previously been recognized or tested at depth.
The firm is planning follow-up drilling to progress at the prospects in parallel with the permitting of the Lady Herial deposit mineral resource.
Its shares jumped 12% in recent trading on Tuesday.
