Financial Shares Tick Higher -- Financial Roundup

Financial shares marked modest gains Tuesday. Coinbase, a crypto platform, notched a strong session amid excitement about a forthcoming IPO for Circle Internet, a stablecoin issuer and Coinbase partner.

Citigroup walked back a policy of shunning firearms stores that sell guns to people younger than 21. The stock climbed.

PayPal Holdings announced plans to launch a physical payments card. The stock finished Tuesday higher.

Intercontinental Exchange reached a deal to provide pricing information for a new set of climate-centric fixed-income indexes in collaboration with Stoxx. ICE shares nonetheless fell.
