The government's quest to wring savings from federal contractors is widening beyond consulting firms and focusing on tech companies.
The General Services Administration contacted 10 technology providers Wednesday, including Dell and IT firm CDW, asking executives to justify their work and find areas to cut, The Wall Street Journal reported over the weekend. Shares in Dell and CDW both fell more than 3% Monday morning. Read more:
