Great Divide Mining (ASX:GDM) said processing of remnant ore stocks and tails is underway at its Challenger Gold Mine joint venture with Adelong Gold (ASX:ADG) in New South Wales, Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company added that initial concentrates are being stored within the Challenger process plant with gold separation for the first gold pour expected in the coming weeks.
Upgrade of electrical equipment is underway at the mine, the filing added.
The company's shares fell 3% in recent Monday trade.
