Patria Investments Ltd., a prominent alternative asset manager in Latin America, has announced the signing of an agreement to take over the portfolio management of six real estate investment funds from Genial Investimentos. This move is part of Patria's strategic expansion and diversification of its Real Estate portfolio in Brazil. The transaction, once approved by Brazilian antitrust authorities and the respective investors' assembly, will add approximately R$ 2.5 billion in assets under management to Patria's portfolio, bringing the total to around R$ 26 billion. Rodrigo Abbud, Partner and Head of Real Estate at Patria Investments in Brazil, emphasized that this acquisition further strengthens Patria's leadership in the Brazilian REIT market and expands their range of investment opportunities. The funds involved in the transaction include MALL11, BPFF11, PLCR11, SPTW11, GLOG11, and PLCA11, collectively comprising nearly 190,000 unitholders.
