Honda Motor Buys Back Shares Worth Around 112 Billion Yen in May

Honda Motor (TYO:7267) repurchased 77,186,000 shares for 111.9 billion yen between May 1 and May 31, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

The purchases were carried out under the plan approved by the board in December 2023, which authorizes up to 1.1 billion shares for a total of 1.1 trillion yen through Dec. 23, 2025.

As of May 31, the company has bought back a total of 488,936,900 shares for 701.4 billion yen under the program, the filing said.
